The Battle For The Big Break is an upcoming reality singing competition on GMA 7. Ten music icons will groom their own bets to be the next singing superstar. The reputation and credibility of the mentors are at stake and their mentoring techniques scrutinized. Plus the mentors are also vying for the same prize so they will surely give their best. Ogie Alcasid will be the journey host, Dingdong Dantes will be the Gala host while Jennylyn Mercado will be the Reality Strands host.

Zaira (LJ Reyes) did not let Shane (Kris Bernal) in inside their house even if her mother Lisa (Jean Garcia) is really inside. She kept on asking Shane what do she need from her mother. Shane then told her that she only wanted to tell her thanks to Ma'am Lisa. Zaira asked what was that all about. Shane told her that Lisa helped in the bills of her adoptive father, Douglas (Rez Cortes). Zaira was in surprised hearing those words. A few minutes later, her father Greg (Emilio Garcia) came out. Zaira made a sign to her father and told Shane that her mother Lisa is not around. Greg got no word to say but just agreed with the lie of her daughter. After that, Zaira was far looking. Her friend asked her what was the cause of her silence. She then told her friends that she could not believe that her mother still has contact with that Shane. Her friend asked her why she is so affected. She said that she really does not like the aura of Shane. She does not want her mother to come near her. While talking, Zaira did not know that Lisa was already at the door. She kept on talking. Then she mentioned that she was glad making that fire in the studio. Lisa could not believe what she heard. She confronted her daughter. When Zaira was still not going to tell her, she tried to walk away. Zaira then said that she is the one responsible for the fire in the studio. She did everything. Lisa asked her why she had done that. ZAira said that she had only made that pathetic scene to get rid of Shane. Because she is very angry with her. Lisa then told her that she had enough of her brat attitude. Then Lisa walked away. Zaira was left standing. Crying. After that, Lisa went to Shane. She asked for forgiveness to Shane. She told her how sorry she was. Shane told her that she did not have to because helping her father was already too much to ask. Lisa told Shane that she will make everything to gain back their friendship. When Lisa went home, Greg confronted her. Greg asked her why she hurt the feelings of his daughter. Lisa reasoned that what she did was wrong and they Zaira must be thankful that she did not file a case to her. Greg told her that Zaira had only done that because of her great love to her.

Amber Dionisio (Maja Salvador) is doing her best to get the recipes for the new ChenJean food. Amber called the three Chefs who have those recipes but each Chef neglected Amber's offer. Amber pretended to be someone else so that she can buy their recipes. Meanwhile, Andy Wu (Xian Lim) went to see his girl friend - Jade Dimaguiba (Kim Chiu) at the ZhenChu restaurant. Jade is very surprised to see Andy who is very early at ZhenChu restaurant. Jade told Andy to stay a little while because she is going to cook for him. ChenJean restaurant is going to find a new food that they can call their own that is why they hired good chefs to introduce them to new set of foods. At the meeting room, Jean noticed that Amber is very eager to be at that meeting to find out what is going on at ChenJean. With this, Jean asked Amber to get out of the meeting room because she is not needed there. Amber can not do anything about it and so she hurriedly went outside the meeting room without any idea what the ChenJean owners and investors have talked about.

Manny (Roderick Paulate) was already worried that they already lack money. Jennifer (Mona Louise Rey) got worried. Manny then told Jennifer that he already called on Nonoy to send them some. When Nonoy told his wife about it, his wife was worried because she knows that many are following Manny and Jennifer. She reminded him about his safety. Nonoy then explained to her that he should do it because Manny had helped them in some way. While walking at the street, Nonoy notices that somebody is following him. He the walked faster and quicker trying to destruct the man. When he got to the place where Manny and Jennifer was, he then told Manny that they should hurry because somebody was following him. They the ran. But the man was very quick and got hold of Nonoy. Meanwhile, Simeon (Neil Ryan Sese) was waiting outside the residence of the Lobregat. He had heard from Tin- tin that Sandra (Camilli Pratts) is working at Atty. Stanley's (Bobby Andrews) house. He was there , waiting for the perfect timing when to enter and get what he wants. When he realized that Stanley had already left the house, he was already smiling. That night before, Stanley had a heart to heart talk with his wife, Kate (Andrea del Rosario). He then asked her why she could not take care of their own son. Kate then reasoned out that she was trying her best to be the best mother. But she could not make it. She is still not capable to be one. Stanley then understood the situation of his wife. He approached her and hugged her tightly.

Benjamin "Budoy" Maniego (Gerald Anderson) is still admitted at the hospital after having colds and fever. Budoy was admitted at the Maniego hospital with the help of Doctor Anton Maniego (Tirso Cruz III) and Doctor Isaac Maniego (Christian Vasquez). Elena Dizon (Janice De Belen) is always at Budoy's side wherein he told Budoy not to worry anymore.  Grace who is very mad at Budoy then fired him and told him not to work at the Maniego school anymore. Budoy disagreed to what Grace have decided because he found it unfair. Budoy's foster mother - Elena Dizon (Janice De Belen) knew about what happened to Budoy and so she hurriedly went to Doctor Grace's office. Elena told Grace not to make decisions when she is still angry and hear out Budoy's side but Grace neglected. Reminiscing that Grace is very mad at Budoy after what she knew about Budoy who is the real son of her brother-in-law - Doctor Anton Maniego (Tirso Cruz III). Elena protected Budoy from Grace that lead her and Grace to argue with each other. Grace got mad at Elena because she thought that Elena is insulting her even thogh she is the School President. Grace then fired Elena and told her and Budoy not to work at the Maniego school anymore because of their bad characteristics. Elena then took of her uniform and threw it on Grace's face telling her that she is not happy to work at the Maniego school. Luisa Maniego (Zsa Zsa Padilla)O knew about what happened between Grace, Budoy and Elena and she is very worried about Budoy. Luisa then went to see Elena and Budoy asking them about what really happened. Budoy then told Luisa about what happened to him and BJ's friends wherein Budoy defended himself telling Luisa that BJ's friends bullied him around. Luisa then told Elena and Budoy that she is going to talk to Grace and tell her to hire them back and let them work at the Maniego school again. Elena told Luisa that it is not important for her to talk to Grace anymore because she have finally decided to quit working at the Maniego school. Elena and Budoy then went home wherein Elena told Budoy that they must transfer to another home already. Budoy disagreed to what her foster mother - Elena decided because he don't want to leave the Maniego school. Budoy asked Elena if they can stay at the Maniego school because he can't bear being away from his best friend - Jacky Marie Ronquillo (Jessy Mendiola) and the others close to him. Elena tried to explain to Budoy that they can't stay any longer at the Maniego school because they don't have any work anymore. With this, will Elena change her mind from leaving the Maniego school? How will Luisa help Elena and Budoy so that they can still stay at the Maniego school?

Salima/ Amaya (Marian Rivera) was standing alone outside. Afterwards, Bagani (Sid Lucero) approached her and accidentally called her Bai or princess. Salima then told him that what she was thinking is none of her business. Bagani asked for an apology for addressing her in different name. bagani still thinks that she is Amaya. Songil (Mon Confiado)and Paratawag (AJ Dee) told him that it would be impossible because Amaya is long dead.Songil thentold heim that he had seen the face of Salima. Bagani then asked if it was Amaya. Songil answered that it was far way behind. Her looks is very far from Amaya. Seeing that the gentleman is already convinced that Salima is not Amaya, they then left him and went to their duties. Songil and Paratawag then went on to where Ahak (Sheena Halili) and Kuling (dion Ignacio) are. The two guards then informed Ahak that Amaya is already inside the puod or territory. Ahak was very happy upon knowing this news. They then delivered the swords that Amaya had told them to do. This is in preparation for the revenge they are going to do with the reigning rajah or ruler. After that, they went to the balay or house of Dayaw (Aljur Abrenica) and Salima. They informed Salima that they have already told Ahak of her status. Songil also added that Bagani is still thinking that she is Amaya. Amaya then asked what they answered to him. They told her that they made sure that he would believe them. Songil then told Amaya his thoughts. He suggested that they should already let Bagani know that she is indeed Amaya. He thinks that Bagan should know the truth because he is after all their alliance. Amaya then said that it would be different because Bagani still thinks that she is the one who killed his father Manggubat (Gardo Versoza). Songil then said that that is not what he saw in the eyes of Bagani. He saw love in it. He thinks that they should already meet and talk to settle the problems they had. Dayaw then interrupted that it should not happen. And they should follow what they have planned at first. Bagani would still not know that Salima and Amaya are one.

After there was formal filing of cases, Ramon Joseph is already transferred to a new jail. Before he got transferred, Luz Miranda, a former actress and the suspect' s and victim's grandmother visited Ram Joseph in jail. She was very early for the allowed visiting hours. Mrs. Miranda was crying while looking at her grandson. She was telling him that everything will be alright and it would be proved that he is innocent. Miranda also said that Ramona Bautista , Ram Gen's and Ramon Joseph's sister, will be coming vback in the country. She just needed to take a breath of fresh air. Miranda said that the rumors spreading that the Bautista sibling are fightting because of money are all not true. It is normal for sibling to fight anyway, she said. The star witness in the murder of Ram Revilla now fears for his life. Ruel Puzon claimed that he received a death threat via text message on Monday, a day before the preliminary investigation on the case began. Puzon had immediately gone to police after the crime took place on October 28th and pointed to Ram's brother, Ramon Joseph Bautista, as the mastermind. Parañaque police are now considering placing Puzon on the Witness Protection Program along with 7 other witnesses--Ram's assistant Ronald Ancajas, 3 household helpers, 2 security guards and the latest to come forward Lloyd Comeda, alias “Lim”. new witness on Tuesday linked siblings Ramon Joseph or RJ and Ramona Bautista to the murder of their brother, aspiring actor-politician Ramgen Revilla, last October 28. Task Force Ramgen presented witness Lloyd Comeda alias Lim before Parañaque City prosecutor Lea Roma. Task Force chief Enrique Sy said Comeda is part of the group hired by Ramon Joseph and Ramona to kill Ramgen. Chief Inspector Fergen Torred, Parañaque police intelligence chief, said Comeda corroborated the testimony of two other witnesses, Michael Nartea and Francis Tolisora, that it was RJ and Ramona who masterminded the killing. The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has asked the International Criminal Police Organization's office (Interpol) in Ankara, Turkey to gather information on Ramona Bautista, who is accused of involvement in the murder of her brother Ramgen. Bautista hurriedly left the Philippines Friday night for Hong Kong, where she caught a connecting flight to Turkey, according to the Bureau of Immigration (BI). Bautista, who is married to a Turkish man, is a resident of Turkey, according to her departure card submitted to the BI.The attack on Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player Ali Peek was premeditated, according to police. This means that there was a clear intent on the part of the attacker to kill the 6-foot-4 Talk 'N Text forward-center. Bolalin ruled out the robbery angle, saying that the suspect immediately fired at Peek. Peek was shot in the neck Monday night by a still unidentified gunman in front of the RFM Gym in Mandaluyong City. He was rushed to the Medical City in Ortigas and is now in stable condition. As of Tuesday, Peek has not undergone surgery to remove the bullet lodged in the back of his skull. Coach Chot Reyes said it is a miracle for Peek to be fully lucid and in control of his body movements. He, however, remains puzzled as to the motive because he says Peek maintained good relationships with those around him. Talk ‘N Text teams owner Manny Pangilinan has announced a P500,000 reward for any leads in the incident. Militant lawmakers have asked the Office of the Ombudsman to strip Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo of her benefits as former president. In their motion for reconsideration, the militants led by Bayan Rep. Teddy Casiño are seeking a reconsideration of an Ombudsman ruling on September 21, which closed and terminated the administrative case against Arroyo in connection with her alleged links to the botched NBN-ZTE deal. The Ombudsman said it has no authority to remove Arroyo as representative of Pampanga. Her administrative liabilities as president were erased by her election as a lawmaker, it said.

Bruce (Smokey Manaloto) is shot by Baldo Enriquez (Ron Morales). Bruce who is already admitted at the hospital has a critical condition. Bruce's grand mother cried a lot because she can't take the risk of losing Bruce. Bruce's cousin - Jopet (Neil Coleta) together with Sophia Delgado/Mendoza (Jodi Sta. Maria) and  little Anna Manalastas (Xyriel Manabat) are also there at the hospital waiting for updates on Bruce's condition. After awhile, Bruce didn't make it and died. Everybody who are close to Bruce cried and grieved for his death specially her close cousin - Jopet. Jopet's girl friend - Yannie Ramirez (Emmanuelle Vera) told Jopet not to worry too much because his brother - Bruce is already at peace. Jopet then told Yannie to leave him alone because he wants to think hard about the incident. Jopet then tried to leave the hospital and his cousin - Sophia stopped him. Sophia then made Jopet realize things that he must not do. Jopet wants to revenge to the person who killed his brother - Bruce. Sophia then asked Jopet some things regarding with his decision and told him to think twice before he is going to do what he wants to do. Jopet realized that his anger will not lead to a good result and Bruce will not be happy with that. Meanwhile, Miranda Ramirez (Valerie Concepcion) is talking to her husband - Bobby Ramirez (Dominic Ochoa). Miranda tried to convince Bobby to trust her with all her decisions. After their conversation, Miranda received a call from Jessica Cruz (Jewel Mische). Jessica black mailed Miranda telling her that she wants to have the Toy Company back. Jessica told Miranda that she already knows about her connivance to Baldo. With this, what will Jessica do to make Miranda do whatever Jessica wants her to do? Will Miranda agree to all Jessica's decisions and be threatened?

Agent Cristobal Rivas (Joem Bascon) together with Agent Giselle Santillian (Desiree Del Valle) both wondered who is Ricardo (Gerald Madrid). Somebody reported to Cristobal and Giselle that Ricardo was seen to be with Elisa Altamira (Melissa Ricks). Cristobal and Giselle wants to know why Ricardo was seen with Elisa. Cristobal then left the office making Giselle ask where he will be going this time. Giselle thought that Cristobal is going to see Dana Altamira (Agot Isidro) again since he is in love with her. Cristobal told Giselle that he is going somewhere else and not to see Dana. Meanwhile, Dana and her husband - Mariano Altamira (Albert Martinez) are talking to each other about Mariano's sister - Viviana "Vivian" Rincon (Mickey Ferriols). Dana is very disappointed as well as mad at Vivian because she thought that Vivian was her friend. Reminiscing that Vivian tricked Dana pretending to be the said informer to where Elisa is right now. Dana then asked both Cristobal and Giselle how did they know that she will be there and told them to leave. Dana told Cristobal and Giselle that the informer told her not to bring Police or NBI agents with her or else she is not going to get the information she needs to have. As for Joey, he followed his wife - Vivian because he got very worried about her. When Vivian already arrived at the abandoned house, she hurriedly looked for the money that Dana left but found out that someone took the money already. While Vivian is very disturbed with the money's disappearance, her husband - Joey suddenly arrived asking about what she is doing. Vivian then tried to explain to Joey that she only needs to pay her debt to Mr. Singh to save her son - Santi Rincon (Franco Daza). Vivian told Joey that Mr. Singh tried to threat Santi's life that is why she thought of tricking Dana to get some money. With this incident, will the two agents - Agent Cristobal and agent Giselle caught both Vivian and Joey?
